Career[edit]

In May 2022, revenge thriller Palido[6] was announced starring Kellan Lutz with Rincon as an executive producer.

Rincon is also a highly regarded film acquisitions executive known for his rapport with filmmakers as well as his deep understanding of film as both art and commerce. Over the years, he has regularly attended film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Toronto (TIFF), Sundance, SXSW where he identifies films, screens them, and works in tandem with the sales team to determine a project's domestic and international value.

Prior to joining PEG, Carlos Rincon was the Head of Acquisitions at Spotlight Pictures. Rincon acquired and licensed Larry Clark's Marfa Girl[7] after Clark famously vowed to cut out the "crooked Hollywood distributors"[8] and declared that "all the distributors are crooks"[9] on Rolling Stone magazine.
