Carol Margolis is an American businesswoman, consultant,[4] speaker, business writer specializing in corporate travel policy. Carol is also a radio and television guest, writer for various magazines, speaker and the author of Business Travel Success.[5] Carol is the founder and CEO of Smart Women Travelers, a community dedicated to women who travel.[6] She also blogs at the BoardingArea.com and Voices of the Business Traveler.

Carol Margolis was born on March 7, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Central Florida and obtained both a BS and MA degree in Accounting.
