Carson Levi Shmyr; born May 5th, 2002) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, model, and actor.[1] His career began in 2016 when he first began publishing music to his Instagram account. His initial endeavors were mostly covers of currently popular songs from artists such as Shawn Mendes and Bruno Mars before he eventually started working on his own creative projects. In 2018 he was scouted by Undiscovered Talent Group who got him a live audition in front of entertainment management company TN Management, based out of Toronto, Canada. He would later sign with them before signing a record deal with Capitol Music Group scout and multi-platinum selling producer Roy Hamilton III in September 2018. Continuing to grow as a musician, Shmyr has received support from traditional media services like music blogs and websites that have added credibility to his resume. [2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Carson Shmyr is a large influencer on the popular social media app, TikTok, where he has built up a following of over 50,000 followers and gained a half a million likes in only a month on the app. [9]. His following is built around his musical career. The app earned Carson Shmyr a spot as a creator at the popular event Playlist Live which he will attend in Orlando in 2020.
Veil Music Group[edit]
On January 1st 2019, Carson Shmyr officially launched his own company, Veil Music Group, which operates as an artist development program in association with Roy Hamilton.
