CASHe is an Indian company that provides immediate short-term personal loans to young professionals based on their social profile, merit and earning potential. [1]

The company was launched on 1 April 2016.[2]CASHe is a fintech product promoted by V Raman Kumar. It provides unsecured short-term personal loans from 5000–100,000[clarification needed] for 15-30-90 days[clarification needed] to young employed professionals aged between 22 and 36 years through an app.[3]The firm operates from Mumbai and Hyderabad where its operations and technology. The CASHe application is available on Android and iOS platforms.[4]

Funding[edit]

CASHe is funded by TSLC Pte Ltd, a Singapore holding Co and Aeries Group of companies with an investment of 200 million till now. The platform has earmarked 500 million as investment capital into this venture.

Platform[edit]

CASHe uses an algorithm called the Social Loan Quotient, which takes mobile data and social networking data to create a creditworthiness quotient for every individual. It is an algorithmic based loan giving app, with zero human bias setting itself apart from conventional ways of lending in India. CASHe's SLQ ranking is a human centric algorithm that is the next step in credit valuation as it redefines the way credit worthiness can be calculated.

Partnerships[edit]

CASHe entered into partnership with Andromeda India's largest financial distributor.[5]With this sales collaboration, the customers registered with Andromeda will now have access to instant short-term credit facility from CASHe. The platform integrated with Paytm to enable its customers to directly transfer loan amounts into their Paytm wallet.[6]
