Casio Alexander Robinson (born April 14, 2007) is a Canadian-American vocalist, drummer, guitarist, songwriter, and audio producer/audio engineer, best known as a founding member of his now discontinued solo project CasioRobinson. He is also the drummer/vocalist/producer of rock band Parabola, and the producer/collaborative clean vocalist of Wyoming metalcore outfit Behold Here's Poison, as well as having co-founded the record label Chronically Online Music Co. alongside Tanner Tholl. He has also produced music for MusicForNormies, Set for Tomorrow, & GLITCHKNIFE.
Biography[edit]
Casio Robinson was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, but moved in 2010 to Connecticut, USA. His father is also originally from St. Thomas. Robinson is of Canadian, English, Scottish, & Brazilian descent. His interest in music came as a result of receiving piano lessons very early in his life. He was inspired to write music as early as 2014 by pop punk band Green Day, and was inspired to make heavier music by A Day To Remember. Robinson was a very creative student in school as noted by all of his teachers, throughout elementary and high school; he was far from a troublemaker. Robinson's first band was the pop punk band Jumpstart (2014 – 2016), before forming Toxic 45 with drummer Taj McGlamery and Colin Stratford.
Robinson and Violet Sage formed their own record label, Asscrack Records, until they disbanded in December 2023, and Robinson went on to form the label Chronically Online Music Co, with Tanner Tholl of Behold Here's Poison.
Influences[edit]
Robinson cites progressive metalcore bands Periphery and The Devil Wears Prada as his biggest musical influences, and cites easycore band A Day To Remember for his influences on the stage.
