Casio Alexander Robinson (born April 14, 2007) is a Canadian-American record producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and mixing engineer. Robinson's work includes collaborations with Parabola, Despiona, Behold Here's Poison, Empty Arteries, and A Hole World.
Early life
Casio Alexander Robinson was born on April 14, 2007, in Connecticut, to Bruce and Monica Robinson. He was an only child. His ancestry is described as Canadian, Scottish, German, & Chilean. He was raised in the Christian Baptist faith and currently is a practicing Christian, frequently citing Bible verses and references in his music.
He began taking piano lessons at age five and had a grasp on musical theory and composition very early on which he has said influenced him to become a musician. With this knowledge, he began teaching himself a wide variety of instruments as he grew up.
Robinson grew up in New Hartford, Connecticut, and attended Northwestern Regional High School. During high school, he "showed clear musical and creative inclination".
In 2025, Robinson enrolled at Full Sail University to study music production.
Career
Robinson began teaching himself instruments and used his skills to write and produce for local bands throughout the late 2010s. In 2025, Robinson briefly relocated to Orlando, FL, and in 2026 relocated to Evanston, WY. Many of his songs, productions, and mixes began gaining popularity, and he later co-founded record label & management company Sawshark Records. Robinson mainly works out of his home studio and co-runs Sawshark Studios located in Evanston, WY.
Production style
Robinson works mainly in rock and metal using guitars and keys along with production software with custom plug-ins. He has developed a signature drum & guitar sound that can be instantly recognized.
