Cask Lounge and Restaurant is a Ugandan Restaurant and night club found in Kampala[1], [2][3][4].
Description and décor[edit]
Cask Lounge is made up of a restaurant and a set of guest rooms[5][1]. The furnishing and interiors of the restaurant consist mainly of artistic and rustic ornament and furniture, including chairs, cushioned benches, sofas, tables and stools with heavy sculptures of African reliefs and patterns and made from a mix of raw timber, straw, jute, rocks and leather materials sourced from within the country[2]. There are also bars, an art gallery,and corners for live jazz bands within the restaurants[6].
Covid 19 controversies[edit]
During the Covid 19 pandemic period, Cask Lounge manager was arrested after violation of the COVID-19 guidelines before the President declared bars to open[7][8][4]
