Products

Bill Counters

One of the first Cassida machines that has influenced the industry was top load counter Cassida 6600, which was released in 2008. It was the first machine in cash automation industry to introduce ValuCount™, a feature that calculates the total value of bills counted. Cassida 6600 counts to 1,400 bills per minute. It also has UV and MG detections, enabling the machine to scan for counterfeit bills. Product's redesign occurred in 2019, introducing the first touch control panel for business grade money counter in the US. To this day, Cassida 6600 is a reliable companion for people who deal with cash in their business.

Among other notable bill counters, there is Cassida 5520, the first back-loading bill counter with ValuCount™. Also released in 2008, Cassida 5520 counts to 1300 bills per minute.[1]

Coin Counters

Counting coins manually without using machines is very time-consuming and tedious. Therefore, coin counters and sorters were created to count coins quickly and efficiently according to the denomination of coins.[2]

Then C200 was released in 2011. Cassida C200 was considered one of the best-selling coin counters until Cassida C300 was released. It offers innovative feature such as preformed wrappers. Those preformed wrappers made it much easier to wrap and roll coins. In addition, beyond recognizing Pennies, Nickels, Dimes and Quarters like C100 does, it also recognizes Dollar Coins. It's counting speed is 300 Coins/Min, and hopper capacity is 2000 coins.[3]

On March 16, 2020, Cassida started producing the latest version of its coin counters and sorters, C300. New features include: Printing Capabilities and Quickload, which allows to wrap coins 35% faster than C200.[4]

Counterfeit Detectors

In 2006, Cassida has released its first counterfeit detector, Cassida 3300. Not only it had UV and MG security marks like the currency counters, but also IR (infrared) checking ability, thus making it a reliable detection technology available in the industry.[5]

In 2014, Cassida introduced Instacheck. It has better verification speed of less than 0.5 seconds per bill comparing to less than 1 second of Cassida 3300.[6]

Currency Counting Scales

First currency counting scale by Cassida is TillTally. Since the device can count both bills & coins, the TillTally will count down the money in an entire cash register under a minute.[7]
