Cate Sweeney

Cate Sweeney is an English author and playwright, whose plays have been produced around the country. Her first novel, Selfish Jean, was released by Macmillan New Writing in April 2006.[1]
Sweeney is involved in volunteer work for a theatre group called Shed:MK, a group that integrates fully able and disabled children in staged dramatic performances. She has written many of their plays.

Sweeney's novel, Selfish Jean (2006) is a "light piece" about adoption.[2] The New Statesman wrote that it "has an interesting subplot, but lack punch."[2]
