Environmental studies journals include those emphasizing human interaction with the natural environment, from an integrative humanities, social science, and biophysical science perspective; policy and prescriptive perspectives often are included as well. Journals focusing on coupled human and natural systems or the human dimensions of environmental change also may be included.
