Caution is the fifteenth studio album by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey. It will be released on November 16, 2018, through Epic Records. The album marks Carey's first studio album in four years, since Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse was released in 2014.
In the lead up to the its release, the album was promoted by two promotional singles, "GTFO" and "The Distance". The first official single from the album is titled "With You" and was released on October 4, 2018.

The album draws inspiration from Carey's split from ex-boyfriend James Packer, as well as her new romance with Bryan Tanaka.

The album has been in development since 2015. Carey revealed the album title, the release date and the cover artwork on Twitter.[1]
Recording[edit]
Mariah recorded the album in 2018. She called the creative process of making the album a "labour of love."[2]
