Caveblazers is a video game developed by Rupeck Games and published by The Yogscast.[1] The game was released on May 25th, 2017 for Microsoft Windows. The game has been described as a dynamic mix between Risk of Rain and Spelunky. The game takes place in a recently discovered cave, said to hold "unimaginable power". As player go deeper in to the cave, to discover new areas to explore, weapons and monsters.[2]
Gameplay[edit]
In the game, you venture down the cavern to explore it. It’s a roguelike platformer, where you’ll have to jump from wall to wall, fight different enemies and descend deep down into the cave. the player will have an old, rusty blade, a bow, and a quiver of arrows, all of which has to equip to defend their self. as you go to the different levels player will find new and better types of equipment, items with powers, and blessings that improve your stats and shrines that can present their rewards. each level contains the boss monster when the player dies, they receive points then unlock new clothes, perks, and other various unlockables that can be used in the next playthrough.[3][4]

Caveblazers received mixed reviews, in Metacritic it has 7.8 of 10 ratings.[5] while in the Gamerankings the ratings of GameGrin has 7.5 of 10, PC Gamer 84 of 100, GameSpew 8 of 10 ratings, making it to the total of 79.67% ratings on Gamerankings.[6] Meanwhile, review aggregator whatoplay gives Caveblazers an aggregate score of 8.23.[7]
