Central Colchester
Central Colchester or Colchester Central is the innermost part of Colchester, England. It is the administrative and economic hub of the City of Colchester, and the first of the seven districts of Colchester. Areas within Central Colchester do not have a specific district of Colchester on their address.
The area is often mistaken for Colchester City Centre, which is a special economic zone within Central Colchester which consists mostly of shops and small-businesses.
The district includes landmarks like Colchester Castle, Colchester Town Hall, and Colchester High Street.
