Central Jets is a private aviation broker founded by Dimitri Semenikhin and Ian Malouf [1], headquartered in Malta.
History
Central Jets was founded in 2019 by Dimitri Semenikhin – founder of Yacht Harbour – and Ian Malouf – founder of Dial A Dump Industries[2].
Differently from traditional private aviation brokers [3], Central Jets connects clients directly with aircraft operators and owners with no markup [4]. Its financial model is predicated on a €199 per month membership for its clients and a 2.9% processing fee covered by the aircraft operator.
A fleet of 10,000 aircraft is available through its iOS app and web platform [5].
According to Forbes, Central Jets posted revenues of $1 million per month by July 2019 [6]. 30 of its clients were featured in Forbes' Billionaire List according to the publication [7], which did not specify which ones. Most of its growth was driven by social media advertising.
