The Central Michigan University shooting happened on March 2, 2018, on the campus of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The shooting left two people dead and led to a manhunt by the university police looking for the perpetrator involved in the shooting.[1][2]
A 19-year-old student, James Eric Davis, Jr., shot and killed his parents in a dormitory. The perpetrator was taken into custody.[3] Police conducted the manhunt throughout the day and evening in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.[3]
