Centre for Tribal and Customary Law is a centre dedicated to research and teaching concerning the Customary Laws, Legal and Governance aspects of Tribal People of India. It was founded in August 2012 by the Central University of Jharkhand. It was the first centre of its kind in India.[1][2][3]

Location[edit]

The center is located in the Central University of Jharkhand campus at Brambe, 25 kilometres (16 mi) from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, India].

Courses offered[edit]

The centre offers a two-year M.A. in Tribal Law and Governance, two-year LL.M. with specialization in Tribal & Customary Law and Ph.D. in issues concerning tribal people.[4]
