Cerity Partners is a national financial services firm that provides financial advice to individuals and their families, businesses and their employees, and nonprofit organizations.[1]

The company serves more than 2,250 private, business, and nonprofit clients; providing them with financial planners, investment professionals, tax advisors, retirement plan consultants and attorneys for their respective needs.[2][3][4][5]

History[edit]

The firm was founded in 2009 as HPM Partners by Kurt P. Miscinski and a group of veteran financial advisors with the capital support of Emigrant Bank. Lightyear Capital LLC acquired Emigrant Bank's interest in the firm in December 2017. HPM Partners changed its name to Cerity Partners in 2019.[6][7][8]

Awards and industry recognition[edit]

Financial Times has listed Cerity Partners as a “Top 300 Investment Advisor” for 2015,[9] 2016,[10] 2017[11] and 2018.[12] The firm was named a “Top 50 Wealth Manager” by Forbes in 2013[13] and #26 on the list of “Top 100 Wealth Managers” by Forbes in 2014.[14]
