Certified Senior Advisor
The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® is a certification for professionals who serve seniors.[1] Earning Certified Senior Advisor certification requires individuals to pass a competency-based exam, ethics exam, and a background check. Furthermore, Certified Senior Advisors are required to submit professional continuing education every three years to retain their certification. There are over 3,500 CSAs in the United States.[2] The Certified Senior Advisor program is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).[3]
The Society of Certified Senior Advisors was founded by Ed Pittock in 1997. It is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.[4]
