Cesar Daniel Izturis
Cesar Daniel Izturis is a Venezuelan minor league baseball prospect with the Seattle Mariners. He was born on November 11, 1999, and is the son of former MLB shortstop Cesar Izturis and the half nephew of former MLB infielder Maicer Izturis and former minor league shortstop Julio Izturis. On December 12, 2015, he signed with the Lara Cardinals of the Venezuelan League.[1] On July 20, 2016, Cesar Daniel signed with the Seattle Mariners of MLB as an international free agent for a $550,000 bonus.[2] He was part of the first graduating class of Academia Izturis, the academy run by his father and half uncle. Cesar Daniel was signed by Emilio Carrasquel, the same scout who signed his father 20 years prior.
