Chahat Pandey (born 1 June 1999)[1] is an Indian television actress[2] known for starring as Pakhi Parekh in Hamari Bahu Silk[3] and Durga Aneja in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya.[4]

Life and family

Chahat Pandey was born on 1 June 1999 in Damoh city of Madhya Pradesh to Bhawana and Mani Pandey.[1] At the age of 9, her father died. She has two younger brothers, Rahat and Sahas Pandey.[1]

Pandey completed her primary education from Chandi Chopra village and 10th standard from Adarsh School, Damoh. Later, she shifted to Mumbai to pursue her acting career and completed the rest of her education there.[5][6]

Career

Pandey debuted in 2016 in the television soap opera Pavitra Bandhan, where she portrayed Mishti Roy Choudhary, the younger daughter of the main character Girish, who returns from having lived in America.[7] She also had episodic roles in the crime dramatisation series Savdhaan India. In 2017, Pandey featured in the teaser trailer for the soap opera RadhaKrishn as the lead character Radha.[8][9][8]

Pandey has appeared in the lead roles of Pakhi Parekh in Hamari Bahu Silk[3] and Durga Aneja in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya.[4] Since 2021, Pandey is starring as Mahua in the Dangal TV show Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer.[10]
