Chambial (caste)
Chambial shortly retrieved as Chambal[1] is an Indigenous community premised of Sikh-Rajput[2][3] relationship, often centred across the hilly region of chamba. which geologically lies between former Princely state of Eastern Punjab which feudally gain the "Darbari status" and start rehabilitating their lost tributary land as Jagir, during the time of Sikh take over of chamba estate after resistible warring against Maharaja Ranjit Singh insurgency in mid 17th century.[4]

Even since It believe the Rani (custodian) of chamba was falsely blasphemed by the attempt of abduction over Sikh but its just an fabrication or just an disproved narrative of unsung events and she was laterally married to Sikh ruler.[5]

Chamba by which country it was annexed in 1821 under a sanad from Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It finally passed into the possession of Jammu in 1846.The ruling family has long been extinct in the direct line.
