Champagne Dreams is the debut extended play (EP) by Indian-born music producer-songwriter NNDN. It was released on 7 October 2022 by Absolute Records Group. The EP has been composed, written and arranged by NNDN himself, while it has been sung by Shawn Kelley, an artist based in New Jersey. This EP's music incorporates the usual R&B style of music with modern funk-pop. Lyrically, it focuses on the artist trying to woo a person he likes.

Upon release, Champagne Dreams received generally favourable reviews from music critics and the audience, who mainly praised its production and vocals.

Champagne Dreams was released only on digital.

Background and composition[edit]

Nandan conceived the idea for Champagne Dreams in his head during his summer break in 2022, some time after the release of his second single, Te Conozco. He had initially intended for the release to be a single with just one track. But after he was done with writing the lead single, he got ideas for 4 more tracks and he got on to writing all of those songs one-by-one almost immediately.

During the initial stages, he was mainly influenced by artists like The Weeknd and Bruno Mars and songs like Take My Breath and 24K Magic and he decided that he wanted the music to be a fusion of their styles of music. He tried to fuse R&B with funk music and was successful to an extent. After he was done with composing music for all of the tracks, he started to search for an artist who had a voice similar to The Weeknd as he thought it would suit the song more than anything else. Some time later, he found a match in New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Shawn Kelley.
