The Chandakaal is a comic book supervillain in the Raj Comics. He generally appears in Super Commando Dhruva series.

Origin

Get the Rakshas Jati On Top Of The Universe. He Is The Last Rakshas Left On Earth. He Wants The Sa-Sung's Red Diamond Since He First Came Into View. Chandkaal is a real monster of a criminal. He has close resemblance to a devil. He is determined to promote the forces of darkness with his demonic powers and scheming brain, which is fit to be called a Devil's workshop. He carries a stick as if to drive away light. He looks evil through and through. He claims to be the last survivor of the demon race on earth and intends to make earth a world that would be ruled by demons.

Powers and abilities

He is an expert in black magic and he can escape by bursting into a cloud of smoke. In Kirigi ka kahar when he tried escaping Dhruv by turning into smoke, Dhruv cleverly captured him using a vacuum cleaner. He also has a magic wand which he uses to perform strong magic skills. His powers weaken if he loses his wand, yet he is still lethal, being able to shoot energy blasts from his hands and eyes, also hypnotize and escape by turning into a cloud of smoke. He is also a master illusionist and an expert in hypnotism.

Although Chandkaal is shown as not very strong physically (something similar to "Scarecrow" from the Batman franchise) and tends to avoid physical encounters with his enemies. Yet, being an expert tactician, he can coax and trick people easily.
