Chandan Shetty (born 17 September 1989) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer, lyricist, and singer who mainly composes music in the Kannada language.[1][2][3] He has worked for more than 50 movies as a lyricist and playback singer.
Shetty gained fame as a solo artist with singles such as "Top to Bottom", "3 Peg", "Chocolate Girl" and "Halagode".
Early life[edit]
He was born at Shanthigrama, holenarasipura taluk Hassan district.[4] His father Paramesh is a businessman, and his mother Prema, is housewife. He went to school at Rotary School, in Sakleshpur. He completed his PUC at St. Philomena in Commerce, at Puttur, Karnataka. He finished his Bachelor's Degree at Vidya Vikas in Bbm, Mysore. After completing his higher studies, he worked in a call centre for a year.
Career[edit]
Shetty entered the music industry in 2012 as lyricist and assistant music director for the movie Alemari under the music director, Arjun Janya. Then he worked for several other movies such as Varadanayaka, Power, Chakravyuha, and Bhajarangi. He is the winner of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 with his friend Divakar, as the runner-up that aired on Colors Super TV Channel.[5]
