Chang Siao Ying (Chinese: 張小英; pinyin: Zhāng Xiǎo Yīng), was a popular and prolific Singaporean singer.
Early life[edit]
Chang was born in Guangdong, China to Shanghainese parents.
Career[edit]
She won the inaugural Rediffusion Talentime singing contest in Singapore in 1965,[1] and was signed to a recording contract with Precious Urn. The popular song Three Dreams 三個夢 was written for her first album, released in 1967.[2]
Chang soon became a household name Singapore. She later recorded with Polydor and Denon imprint Prinstar Records.
