Seo Chang-bin (Hangul: 서창빈; born August 11, 1999),[1] better known by the mononym Changbin, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. He debuted in 2018 as a member of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids and is a member of the Rap Group 3RACHA along with fellow Stray Kids Members Bang Chan and Han. Changbin and 3RACHA write Stray Kids's Songs
Life and career[edit]
1999-2016: Early life and career beginnings[edit]
Seo Chang-bin was born on August 11, 1999, in Yongin, South Korea.[1] The youngest of one sister. In 2017, he graduated from Bora High School. When he was 16, he started making music with Han Jisung, and Bang Chan (both are members of Stray Kids). They formed a trio named 3RACHA and have released 3 albums on SoundCloud as of April 2018. In 2016 he became a JYP Entertainment trainee.
2017-present: Stray Kids[edit]
In early 2017 JYP Entertainment and Mnet announced a survival show.[2][3][4] Shortly after the release of his first song 'If',[5] on October 17th, the show titled Stray Kids aired its premiere.[6][7][8] It featured 9 JYPE trainees, including Changbin. In January 2018, the group released their first EP Mixtape,[9] Changbin also helped mix 6 of the 7 featured tracks. On March 26, 2018 Stray Kids made their official debut with mini-album I Am NOT and "District 9" music video.[10][11]
