Channel manager

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

A channel manager[1] is a software solution, in most cases cloud-based, enabling hotels to manage their distribution in online channels.[2] The hotel typically uses the channel manager to synchronize room rates across online travel agents (OTAs), metasearch engines and Global Distribution Systems (GDSes).

Many, but not all channel managers also include website booking engines, enabling hotels to synchronise rates on their brand websites, with other third-party online distribution channels.

Most channel managers feature integrations with hotel property management systems, enabling live synchronization of both rates and availability to the online distribution channels.
