Chantal Haenen

Chantal Haenen (born 22 April 1997) is a Dutch para cyclist.[1] She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.[2][3]
Before being impaired, Haenen was involved in dressage. When she was 18 years old, she was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in amputation of her legs.[4]
She started with para cycling in 2017. She won two bronze medals at the 2019 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships and became twice World Champion at the 2021 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships.[5]
