ChargeFinder is a mobile and web application designed to assist electric vehicle (EV) drivers in locating and accessing public charging stations for electric automobiles.[1][2][3][4][better source needed][5] The application is developed in Sweden and United States, owned and operated by ChargeFinder Inc.[6]

    Overview[edit]

ChargeFinder provides information on the location and details of charging stations for electric vehicles.[2][7][8][9] The application is available on web browsers and as mobile applications for both iOS and Android devices.[10] Its Android version was launched in 2018, followed by a website in 2019.[11]

As of 2024, ChargeFinder has gained traction[jargon] as a resource for EV drivers,[12][5] leading in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, with emerging growth observed in the UK and US markets. ChargeFinder is recognized as a leading CarPlay app for EV owners.[13]

The database of ChargeFinder hosts information on over 300,000 charging stations and 1 million charge outlets.[5][14]

    Partnerships[edit]

ChargeFinder has established partnerships with various charging station operators, including Tesla Supercharger and Ionity, to provide users with access to a range of charging options.[11][7]
