Chargy is a network of charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in Luxembourg. It is a common initiative by Creos, Electris, Sudstroum, Diekirch and Ettelbruck which are all actors in the Luxembourgish electric network.
The first charging station was announced in November 2016 and since June 2017 available to the public.
Fast charging[edit]
The first DC fast charger was opened on the 20th of January 2021 under the SuperChargy brand. These chargers have a maximum power output between 160 and 320 kW primarily utilizing the CCS Combo 2 standard. Some chargers will also be equipped with CHAdeMO. For 2023, 88 chargers are planned over 19 different locations within Luxembourg.[1]
