Charles C. Awuzie is a Nigerian-South African-based Software Engineer, Cybersecurity Specialist and the CEO of Gemsbok Group.[1][2] He is also a pastor and author of It's Time to Forgive, one of the bestselling books of its time.
Biography[edit]
Early life and educational background[edit]
Awuzie was born into a religious family and grew up in a closely knit polygamous family. His parents were teachers. Awuzie is a Biochemistry graduate of Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria. He later obtained a Diploma in Theology and ICT. Awuzie also holds Havard’s CS5O in 2015 by the famous Havard computer scientist, David J. Malan which exposed him to basic computational thinking which is fundamental to problem-solving. He is a certified CompTIA Security+ and Linux Server Administrator since 2016.[3] He got married to Zamar Awuzie, daughter of Sibongile Judith Nkomo, a South African politician and former Secretary-General of the Inkatha Freedom Party.

Pastoring career[edit]
To attain a balance in both his servitude to God and humanity, Awuzie became a pastor at Rescue Mission International and Charles Awuzie Ministries International with headquarters in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is the convener of It’s Time to Heal Africa Conferences and One Big Night of Change Crusades in South Africa. Awuzie later transitioned from pastoring to becoming a Transhumanism leader.[4]
Solar energy innovation[edit]
Charles Awuzie’s Gemsbok Group has successfully manufactured an electric vehicle charging power station.[5] The Gemsbok Electric Vehicle Power Bank has the capacity of charging Tesla cars from zero to 100% in just 18 minutes and can also power a home or apartment. He also invented a Jump Stater battery for Motor Vehicles. Gemsbok would be exported to America and Australia starting from November 2022.[6] This electric vehicle charging power is one of the recent energy for the world’s economy.
Cryptocurrency innovation[edit]
Charles Awuzie is the co-founder and CEO of Transhuman Coin (THC), a cryptocurrency committed to funding researches and development of technologies that enhance Human Life Experience.[7][8][9] THC has been listed in major cryptocurrency exchange and trading platforms including CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko,[10] and Crypto.com. THC has a current Market Cap of $1.6 Million.
Charles Awuzie aims at being responsible for the spread of the ideology of Transhumanism across Africa, and Africa’s most vocal Transhumanist of our time. He currently maintains membership with Forbes Business Council.[11]

Charles Awuzie has a very active voice in making political commentaries, especially against bad governance, and also encourages good governance. He strongly believes that Peter Obi will become the next Nigerian president in the 2023 general elections.[12] Awuzie believes that Nigeria needs Referendum more than any other thing.[13] As a cybersecurity specialist, his voice has been on the cutting edge against fraud and every business that stands harmful to Nigerians and Africa at large.[14]
Leadership[edit]
Awuzie has a deep passion for the advancement of Africa in technology for the eradication of poverty. He represented the Eastern Nigeria region in Lagos from July 2007 to 2009 in constructive conferences that focused on fostering solutions to the technology-related challenges facing Nigeria when he was the leader of the Nigerian Internet Initiative. During those periods, he oversaw 6 states and introduced the indigenes to the opportunities of internet technology. In 2013, Awuzie co-founded an I.T company in South Africa where he leads a team of Web developers, Mobile developers, and Ethical hackers.
Criticism[edit]
Awuzie's controversial criticism of the Christian doctrine of tithing has attracted criticism. Awuzie's viral open letter to Bishop David Oyedepo questioning the doctrine of tithing generated criticism and he was called disrespectful by followers of the religious leaders.[15][16]
