Early Life and Career[edit]

Born in Kisii Kenya, Mogire grew up in Nakuru where he joined Mogoon Primary school and later Nakuru West Secondary School where he graduated in 2009. [1]He later started working as a night Guard before quitting the security guard job to sell scratch cards. After sometime, he joined the Boda Boda industry where he was a motorbike driver in Nakuru Kaptembwo area. in 2013, He applied for a job at Hero Radio as a comedian but only got a job as a [2]cook in the radio station a job that he took despite his dream of being a Radio Host. After working for a month as a cook, joined Hero Radio as a comedian on the evening drive show that was hosted by DJ Sam, Supah Hukah and Branu where he was only allowed to go on air once per week. After a month in Hero Radio, [3]Charles got interested in Deejaying after being inspired by one of his friends. Without having any money to pay for a DJ course, he offered to be a cleaner in one of the deejay schools in Nakuru where he could get free lessons in return. After two months of training, he returned to Hero radio where he hosted mid day shows on his show that was dubbed Base Music Show. Charles later founded [4]Flamingo Awards that aimed in empowering struggling Nakuru talents and was well received and until now among the most successful events ever organized in Nakuru County. After successfully conducting Flamingo Awards on 2015, He also launched [5]Flamingo Radio to help push the content on Nakuru talents that was getting less media plays in the country.

Charles later started [6]motivational talks on various Kenyan [7][8][9]Television channels as a way to encourage young people never to give up despite hardship beginnings that was well received in some media houses and as a result many youths especially from slums were inspired and joined his DJ academy that he had started in Nakuru to help upcoming DJs acquire professional skills at no cost.
