Charles Alexis Guenard (born 11th March 1996), widely known as Charles the French, is a French-Thai content creator, comedian, magician, and music producer. He was born to a Thai mother and a French father in Lyon, France. He moved from France to Thailand when he was 14. Charles the French is widely known for his sarcastic videos posted on Facebook and YouTube with his friend Tada. With over 150 million views on Facebook and over 90 million views on YouTube, he has become a reference in terms of students' humor. The skits also tackle relationship problems as well as technology products spooky reviews. Charles performs magic all around Asia for corporate events. For example, in 2018, Charles premiered his Comedy Magic Show titled "Here Comes The Secret". The show toured Asia for 2 years, delighting thousands of audience members. In May 2020, Charles premiered his brand new comedy show called "This is Absurd!", which is a mix of skits and funny songs. The show will tour Asia from October 2020 onwards. On 26th June 2020, he released his first debut album called "From the Earth to Uranus", and the album is available on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and more platforms.

Charles the French makes comedy sketches on his YouTube channel about exams, love life and, in some of his videos, he also acts as the Apple CEO, which always has a humorous outcome in the end. Lately, since the outbreak of COVID-19 was declared by the World Health Organization as a pandemic, Charles has posted videos featuring jokes regarding quarantine, people with masks and the virus itself. He made his first comedy sketch "What I Would Love To Hear In Class" on February 6, 2016. His most popular comedy sketch "How Teachers Create Your Exams" was made on December 6, 2016.

Magic[edit]

Charles is a magician. Both he and his friend Tada are magicians. He said in a lockdown Instagram live stream that he and Tada met while performing for the same employee.
