Charlie Everett
Charlie Everett was a collegiate basketball player for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during the 2004-2005 season. He amassed a career total of 12 points on 5 for 8 shooting from the field, including an unprecedented 100% from the former 3-point line. Other stats include a 33% career free-throw percentage, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 turnovers.
Everett was a member of the 2005 Tar Heels National Championship Team. He was one of only four seniors to give speeches following the Tar Heels’ victory over Duke to capture the 2005 ACC title. Everett was a featured starter in that game.[1]
Charlie Everett’s two older brothers, Jim and Joe, also were walk-ons at UNC.
Charlie is also a wine connoisseur. One of his best talents is the ability to identify a good red by its redness.
