Chen Yingning

Chen Yingning (Chinese: 陈撄宁, Chén Yīngníng) (January 18, 1881 – May 25, 1969) was a Twentieth-Century Chinese Taoist teacher, author, and leader who helped found the Chinese Taoist Association and was it's first vice-chairman. Along with studying the Taoist scriptures and practices, he also studied Buddhism, Confucianism, and various modern Western sciences (including biology and medical science) in university. Using his knowledge, he wrote helped modernize Taoism and wrote books to make its teachings accessible to normal people.[1] [2]
