Cheri Lynn Herman Daniels (born 1950) is the wife of former Indiana governor Mitch Daniels and was first lady of Indiana from 2005 to 2013. The granddaughter of baseball Hall of Famer Billy Herman, she was born in New Albany, Indiana, and attended Indiana University. She and Daniels married in 1978 and have four daughters: Meagan, Melissa, Meredith, and Margaret. She divorced Daniels in 1993, and married a former boyfriend in California. She later divorced her second husband and remarried Daniels in 1997.[1]
