Cherub College is a non-profit private institution of higher education in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. The college was founded in 1999 and it's main campus is located in the capital city of Nassau, on the island of New Providence. The college also has branch campuses in Grand Bahama, Abaco, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The college is recognized by the National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of The Bahamas. The College's current president is Professor The Honourable Kevin Cavendish, Ph.D.
Academics[edit]
Cherub has more than 250 full-time faculty members and adjunct faculty members, and the undergraduate student-faculty ratio is 15:1. Cherub College has three academic semesters during the 12-month calendar year. Each semester is a standard 15-week course of study, offered from September to December, January to April, and May to August. The curriculum is fashioned after the American Liberal Arts Curriculum. As a 4-Year College, Cherub only offers Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
The College has four degree-granting schools. The School of Business and Administration, The School of Communications, The School of Education, and The School of Social Sciences. Combined they offer 11 Bachelor of Science degree programs across several disciplines.
The college is registered and approved by the National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of The Bahamas. The School of Business and Administration is in candidacy for accreditation with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
