Chestnut Hill Concerts

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Chestnut Hill Concerts is an annual summer chamber music festival located in Connecticut.

Founded in 1969[1] by Elsa Redlich of Yale University, the festival has had strong ties to the Yale School of Music throughout its history. Since 1989 the festival has been led by internationally renowned cellist Ronald Thomas.[1] The festival consists of weekly concerts during the month of August, previously at the First Congregational Church of Madison and more recently at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook,[1] and features both established and aspiring artists.
