Chhoeung Chheng

Chhoeung Chheng was a Cambodian journalist. He worked for Kampuchea Apivath, covering environmental stories.[1][2] He was shot in December 2024 near Beng Per Wildlife Sanctuary, Siem Reap province while investigating illegal logging, and later died from his injuries in hospital.[3][4]
