It started as a website selling dresses, but then expanded to include ranges of accessories, shoes and bags to the collection. Day wear, knitwear, outerwear and swimwear were also added to the collections. The brand has been spotted on a number of celebrities including Stacey Solomon,[4] Charlotte Hawkins,[5] Jacqueline Jossa,[6] Caroline Flack and Made in Chelsea stars Georgia Toffolo and Binky Felstead.[7]

At the end of 2016 Chi Chi London was named on the Sunday Times Fast Track 100’s [8]“One to Watch”.[9] In 2017 Chi Chi London launched their first range of kidswear aimed at girls aged 3–12 years old.[10] The debut collection consisted of 16 dresses, each inspired by the womenswear designs that were current at the time. This range has since grown and currently features over 40 dresses.

Chi Chi launched their bridal wear collection in 2017, to celebrate the launch they held a competition with The Holiday Place to give couples the chance of winning their dream wedding, worth up to £25,000.[11] The prize included the venue of a value up to £15,000, the bride's choice of wedding dress and four bridesmaid dresses, as well as outfits for up to 25 guests. On top of this they also won their honeymoon courtesy of Holiday Place and Amazing Thailand.[12]

In August 2018, the company launched its mobile application for android and iOS phones in the UK market. A new website was also launched in April 2019.[13] Chi Chi London migrated over to Magento Commerce (M2) with the help of Tryzens.[14] The new website aimed at making the buying process much easier and quicker for shoppers to place orders.

In 2019 Chi Chi London announced a new style partnership with Aintree Racecourse for the 2019 Randox Health Grand National Festival. As the Style Award partner for the ladies day on 5 April a number of Chi Chi London prizes were up for grabs in the competition, including a year's supply of dresses for the winner, plus £100 vouchers for finalists. In addition to this 20% discounts were shared to all Ladies Day racegoers.[15]
