Chiara Magni is an artist based in Italy. She is an Impressionism Fingerpainting artist. Her paintings have been sold internationally and are shown at solo and group exhibitions worldwide; she is one of the fastest growing artists of our time[1]

Early years

Born in 1988, Chiara began painting as a young girl, learning Oil Painting, acrylics and watercolor. She was very interested in colours and art from a very early age; the first word she ever wrote was "blue".[2] She began painting very early, and her favourite artist has always been Claude Monet. In an interview, Magni said at one point "Later, growing up, something happened with Vincent Van Gogh" as she really felt his strength of emotions when looking at his works, and he is the only artist able to ignite such emotions in Chiara.[3][unreliable source] She took Art Classes in Italy.

Technique

Chiara Magni[4] took the Fingerpaint style and specialised in it. This kind of style takes the paint right from the colour tube and uses fingers to draw lines and shades, applying the colour pure from the tube to the canvas, and without the use of any solvents, to give a 3D and textured look to the painting. Her paintings are mostly done with the fingerpainting technique; however, she decided not to limit herself to a specific technique and sometimes she "uses other tools to create the exact optical effects that she intends to see on her paintings".[5][non-primary source needed]

Subjects and Painting Inspirations

Magni takes her inspiration from her day-to-day life but mostly from the Garda Lake surroundings, which she calls "a great source of inspiration".[6][better source needed] Because of Garda Lake's variety of landscapes and views, mixed with her vivid imagination, her paintings are found to be very colourful and, sometimes, beyond reality.

Featuring and Shows

Chiara Magni's works have been displayed in some fine art galleries in Italy, such as the Melograno in Livorno and La Maison d'Art in Padua, where she won the "Best Year Artist award," and she sold her paintings all around the world.

NFTs

Magni's work became NFTs since 2021. Her profile is verified on Opensea[7], the biggest NFT market in the world, and she is part of the first wave of verified artists in Bakery Gallery[8] on Binance blockchain.
