China Okasi is a journalist, entrepreneur and television personality. She is one of five sisters who all attended Ivy League universities: Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania.[1][better source needed] She was the featured Democratic strategist on "Candidates & Crime," a very first political hour on HLN's Nancy Grace.[2][better source needed]

Education[edit]

Okasi completed three Ivy League degrees in total. She attended Cornell University at age 16 and graduated at the age of 19 as the youngest to have done so within three years.[citation needed]

At age 20, Okasi was accepted into a Ph.D. program at Georgetown University, but left after a year. She completed two more master's degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.[1][better source needed]

Career[edit]

Okasi modeled briefly after college.[3][better source needed]

As a formally trained journalist and commentator, Okasi has contributed frequently to the all-women "Power Panel" segments on Fox News show, America Live, as well as local and cable news shows, such as CNN HLN's Prime News, HLN's Joy Behar, CW11 Pix Morning News, and Fox News' Fox & Friends.[citation needed]

A serial entrepreneur, Okasi created several high-revenue new media publications derived from her multicultural background,[1] serving as editor-in-chief.[4][better source needed] She launched yet another publication in 2012.[1][better source needed]

While mainly a television personality, her print commentary has been featured in such publications as AOL Black Voices, BET, Loop 21, Huffington Post, MSNBC.com, Uptown Magazine, and Philadelphia Inquirer.[citation needed]
