Chinese Coal Mine, Texas
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Chinese Coal Mine is a ghost town in Jeff Davis County (by some sources, Bandera County[1]), Texas. It was named because the railroad tracks leading to the local coal mine were laid by Chinese workers. The railroad line was used only once to transport coal and was soon shut down due to a high amount of sulfur in the coal.[2]
