Chiraiya (lit. Bird) is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language social drama television series directed by Shashant Shah.[1] It stars Divya Dutta, Sanjay Mishra, Siddharth Shaw and Prasanna Bisht. It is an official remake of Bengali-language television series Sampurna (2022).[2]

It began streaming on JioHotstar from 20 March 2026.[3]

Premise

Kamlesh is the daughter-in-law of a close-knit family whose life appears stable on the surface. Her world changes when she learns that her sister-in-law, Pooja, is experiencing sexual abuse in her marriage.[4]

Marketing and release

Chiraiya premiered on JioHotstar on 20 March 2026. A 20–second teaser video was unveiled on 20 February 2026,[5] followed by a trailer on 6 March.[6]
