Chlara Isobel Banawa Magtultol is a Filipina recording artist. She is best known for her song "You Complete Me". She was featured in evosound’s album Voices of Love together with the finest female vocals featuring Susan Wong, Olivia Ong, Julienne Taylor, Emi Fujita, Stacey Kent, Katie Melua, Chantal Chamberland with her version of Lionel Richie’s Stuck on You. She used to make covers of songs on Soundcloud and YouTube. Her first debut album is called "Unstoppable" featuring "Me Without You", "Take Care", and "Come Find Me".

British born Filipina singer-songwriter Chlara (born Chlara Isobel Magtultol) labeled as Philippines.[1] Chlara grew up in England with her parents before moving to the Philippines at the age of nine. Her father Cesar died when Chlara was 2 years old and passed his love for music onto Chlara.[2] Chlara began singing at the age of three and was influenced by the music at home played by her family. Her musical influences are Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Air Supply, The Carpenters, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion.[3] After moving back to the Philippines, Chlara regularly joined the school singing programs and began playing the guitar at the age 11. Chlara writing her own songs before starting college.
Debut Album: Unstoppable (2014)[edit]
In July 2013 Chlara recorded her debut album of self-written compositions in Manila with Swiss-based producer Adrien Zerbini. Her debut original album Unstoppable was released on November 3, 2014[4] with main tracks Unstoppable, You Complete Me, Me Without You and more.[5]
Imago lead guitarist and composer Zach Lucero wrote on Radio Republic’s blog “THE YEAR THAT WAS 2014: THE BEST MUSIC. HERE.” that Chlara’s You Complete Me is one of the best music in 2014.[6]
Public Appearances[edit]
On May 30, 2013 Chlara made her debut overseas live performance at the Poly Theatre, Beijing, China as special guest to Connie Talbot.[7] After the release of Unstoppable, Chlara was invited to perform at charity concert – Handumanan: Haiyan Tribute concert – at Q-Circle, Quezon City before a huge crowd on November 8, 2014.[8] On November 22–26, Chlara was invited to join UK Talent Star Connie Talbot’s Asia tour "Connie Talbot Gravity Tour 2014" in Hong Kong and Taiwan stations.[9] On December 14, 2015, Chlara held the "Unstoppable Album Launch" which was photo covered by myxph online magazine.[10]

In 2011, Chlara started filming music videos of original compositions and cover songs to her Youtube channel.[14] She has close to 3 million subscribers to her official Youtube channel.[15] On April 29, 2013, Chlara's official VEVO channel ChlaraVEVO was established[16] with her first professional music video of song You Complete Me.
