Choi Jong-ho (Hangul: 최종호; born October 12, 2000),[1] known mononymously as Jongho (Hangul: 종호), is a South Korean singer and actor. He debuted as the main vocalist of the South Korean boy group Ateez in 2018.

Choi was born on October 12, 2000 in Gwangju, South Korea.[1]
Career[edit]
2017–2018: Pre-debut, Mix Nine, debut with Ateez[edit]
Choi is a former trainee of TOP Media.[2]
In 2017, Choi participated in the survival reality show Mix Nine, representing KQ Entertainment alongside future groupmates Hongjoong, Mingi, and Wooyoung. He ranked A during the showcase and placed 43rd before subsequently being eliminated after the tenth episode.[3][4][5]
On October 24, 2018, Choi debuted as a member of Ateez with the EP Treasure EP.1: All to Zero.[6][7]
2019–present: Imitation, OSTs[edit]
In 2021, Choi was cast in the television drama Imitation, which aired from May to July, alongside groupmates Yunho, Seonghwa, and San, marking his acting debut.[8]
On September 16, 2022, Choi released his first solo OST "A Fairy Tale of Youth" for Young Actor's Retreat.[9] On November 26, 2022, Choi released the OST "Gravity" for Reborn Rich.[10]
