Chris Fawkes

Chris Fawkes is a BBC Weather forecaster. He comes from Marple, in Greater Manchester. He studied Geography at Sheffield University. He appears regularly on BBC News, BBC World News, BBC Red Button, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live. He is also a weather forecaster on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, and appears occasionally on BBC Breakfast at the weekends.
Previously he spent time forecasting for the Royal Air Force and the British Army.
