Christopher Owens (born April 29, 1981), known professionally as Chris Lace, is an American singer-songwriter, actor, entertainer, talent manager and scout, cameraman, and business executive in the entertainment industry. He is known for founding and managing Money Time Management, a talent management agency and media production company focused on film and music projects. He has also released his own independent mixtape, The Mixtape Files.
Early life[edit]
Chris Lace was raised predominantly in Shreveport in the MLK Area. His father was a singer and was part of a singing group. They would sing on a street corner across from BTW High School to attract listeners. Chris credits his father's musical talent as an influence on him.
Another early musical influence on Chris was the R&B group Profyle. Several of Chris's friends were in the group and he would learn music from them after attending school.
In addition to music, Chris participated in artistic pursuits such as acting in school plays and joining art contests. He was also an athlete, competing in track and field and football.
Chris is a graduate of Northwood High School's Class of 2000.
Career[edit]
Within the span of his career in the film industry, Chris has served in roles such as cameraman, actor, and talent manager. In the music industry, Chris has worked as a featured vocalist on tracks such as "Work Dat Thang," a 2001 single by a hip-hop group from his neighborhood. Chris has also worked with several musicians in the underground music scene before releasing his independent mixtape, The Mixtape Files, in 2005.
Chris founded his media production and talent management company, Money Time Management, in 2015.
In addition to his work in the media, Chris is also an educational motivational speaker and philanthropist.

Chris has three siblings.
He has one child from his current relationship.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, listening to music, trying coffee at different coffee shops, art, and cooking.
