Biography

Early life

Chris Maio was born sometime in 2005 in Massachusetts, while the exact place and time of his birth is unknown, it is commonly assumed to be the 20th of April 2005 in Wenham, Massachusetts. While growing up, Maio immediately became interested in aviation. This is in part due to the nearby Beverly Airport, which hosted the Collins Foundation "Wings of Freedom Tour".[1] This interest in aviation led him to begin to play the online action game War Thunder.

War Thunder

For Maio, War Thunder became an escape from the many qualms in his life. Mixed with his interest in aviation, War Thunder was the perfect way to fly the aircraft and vehicles he dreamt about. Going by the username "TheCMan320" in War Thunder, Chris Maio also went by the username "Dippy320" on platforms such as Discord. This interest and dedication to the game allowed Maio to gain more and more skill, which eventually allowed Chris to take part in the in-game events of one of his favorite youtubers, BoTimeGaming.[2] While this event and the added publicity allowed Chris to delve deeper into the game, it did not ultimately lead to a fruitful endeavor. Maio is known to be a contributor to the War Thunder Reddit, where his posts have mixed reactions from the community.

Legacy

While it is hard to tell the legacy of Chris Maio thus far in his career, it is safe to say that the War Thunder and Aviation community has been directly affected by the actions of Maio.
