Chris Thompson is a Canadian politician and interim leader of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party.
Early life[edit]
Thompson grew up in the Nashwaaksis neighbourhood of Fredericton, NB.[1]
Political career[edit]
Thompson ran for the New Brunswick NDP in New Maryland-Sunbury in the 2020 provincial election.
He was selected as the intern Leader of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party in December 2020.[2] [3] Upon assuming the leadership of the party, Thompson has promised wide-ranging change to the party's approach.[4]
