Christian William Frates (born February 18, 1997) is an American YouTuber, blogger and voice actor.
Early life and family[edit]
Christian Frates was born at Quincy, Massachusetts to Nancy Jean Newcomb and William Frates Jr. His paternal grandmother Barbara Santell (nee Frates) lived from 1942 to 2010.[1] His paternal grandfather William J. Frates Sr., a radiologist lived from October 1934 to February 18, 2019. [2] At the age of two, he was diagnosed with autism. He graduated Carver Middle High School at the age of nineteen.[3]
Career[edit]
Christian Frates started his YouTube channel or "Irkenus" in November 2008, specializing in editing and making voice over videos. His most popular video is an AMV of Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams with footage of Samurai Jack, which gained 101K views since it published in October 2013. His channel has gained a total of 693 subscribers. In some of his videos, he showcased his ability to do voices and impressions ranging from Eartha Kitt to Leonard Nimoy. In 2017, he started a blog at Wordpress entitled "Christian Frates' Journal".
